“The property was clean and comfortable, and well-located for the Lakes.”
The town centre is in walking distance, too. The 2 main bedrooms were a good size, as was the living room. The bathroom was small but perfectly adequate, with a good shower, and the kitchen was well appointed.
Our gripes were with parking, access, and the WiFi. The last of those was simple: it just didn’t work, at all, no matter how many times we reset the router. This was a bit of an annoyance. As far as parking goes, there is a parking space, but it is small, tricky to get into, and on the side of a very narrow one way street. Again, just a bit of a pain. Finally, the property’s main entrance is down a steep flight of steps, which are a bit treacherous in the dark. There is lighting, but it only stays on for about 10 seconds.
It was good on balance, but there were some negatives.
Hello
Thanks for the feedback and for bringing the WiFi issue to our attention as we have never had any issues before. The broadband company confirmed it was down during your stay due to a “major outage” in the area but it is now working again so we will ask Lakelovers to check.
We are grateful to have a parking space as these are in short supply, but do appreciate it can be tight, so we also provide a free parking permit for street parking too for guests to use and further free parking is available further up the road too so there are plenty of options subject to availability.
The property description on the website provides information about the steps to the front of the property so guests are aware before they book. Guests are also able to use the back door to the property as an alternative way of entering the property which does not have any steps to it.
We are glad that you found it good on balance and thank you again for your feedback.
Kind regards
The Owner
