Accommodation in detail
The front door opens to a spacious hallway opening onto the bright and airy, dual aspect, lounge and dining room, with a large comfortable sofa and arm chairs ideal for relaxing with family and friends or enjoying a film on the large screen TV.
The large family dining table will no doubt play host to many an evening of good food and great company.
The focal point of the contemporary fitted kitchen is a large island unit, complete with bar stools, making it the ideal place for breakfast or to keep a busy chef company, who, if they do find themselves alone, can keep up to date with their favourite programme on the wall mounted television.
The kitchen is well appointed with an excellent five ring gas hob, electric double oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave oven.
A doorway from the kitchen leads to a rear hallway with ample coat hanging and space for boots and outdoor gear and a utility area including washing machine.
The back door opens from here to the rear patio.
Returning to the front hallway, there are two good sized bedrooms; the first, at the front of the cottage, is furnished with a king size bed and the second, to the rear of the cottage, a double bed.
Complementing these on the ground floor is a smart family bathroom with bath with a shower over, basin and WC.
Stairs lead to the spacious first floor landing complete with “chill out zone”, a further TV and writing desk making it the ideal spot to catch up on e-mails or for the kids to relax.
The landing offers plenty of storage with an enclosed clothes hanging area in the eves of the cottage.
Off the landing are two further bedrooms, a large king size double to the front of the property and a smaller twin room to the rear both of which are complemented by a modern shower room with shower cubicle, basin and WC.
Outside the property there is off road parking for up to three cars (not many cottages so close to the centre of Keswick can compete with that) and to the rear of the cottage there is a secluded and enclosed patio area with planted borders and bistro garden furniture.
The owners have also, thoughtfully provided a secure shed for the storage of mountain bikes and outdoor gear.
The owners provide a Cot and High Chair at the property that you can use free of charge.
The Cot will require you to bring your own bedding.
