    “Very well located property with almost everything we needed although the details stated “secure bike storage” so we took bikes, but there was none.”

    Rang the agent and they confirmed the details stated this, but they had no further information and told us the info pack in the house would likely have details but there were none. House could do with a couple of coffee tables in the 2 seating areas and coat hooks but other than these 3 things, would recommend a stay at Fell End.

Sitting comfortably in the heart of Keswick is this recently renovated semi-detached property. On a quiet street, this semi-detached 3 bed house offers ample space and a home from home feel.

Neutrally decorated throughout with a great social aspect with the open kitchen dining area overlooking the garden.

A ten-minute walk will take you into Keswick town centre, where you will find boutique shops, arts and crafts, bars and restaurants a plenty.

Derwentwater is the ideal location to view the Lakes at its best, go for a boat ride or picnic on the shores while taking in the breath-taking views of Skiddaw and Catbells. Accommodation: Enter into the hall way with the lounge, comfy seating, fire, TV Freeview and wi-fi on your first right.

At the end of the hall way is the downstairs bathroom, shower, WC and basin.

The dining area flows nicely into the kitchen with all facilities and doors opening on to the patio and garden.

Upstairs the family bathroom with separate shower, bath, WC and basin, a king bedroom to the rear and a twin bedroom and a single room at the front of the property.

Outside: Drive way suitable for 2 cars and under cover area for bike storage but it is not secure.

Bassenthwaite 7 miles, Ullswater 16.6 miles; Cockermouth 13 miles.

The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.
