The property

Fell Sweep is a beautiful three-storey town house located in the heart of Keswick, Cumbria.

Fell Sweep is a great option for families or groups of up to six people, thanks to its convenient position within the Lake District National Park, breath-taking views of Skiddaw and Latrigg from two of the bedrooms and level walking distance to Keswick town centre.

The ground floor of this home features living room with comfortable sofas, french windows to the patio, a feature gas fire, a TV with Freeview and a DVD player. A perfect place for spending quiet evenings with friends and loved ones.

There is a dining area with seating for six, a fully equipped Shaker-style kitchen where you can whip up delicious meals.

There is cloakroom with toilet, off the entrance hall which also has a large storage cupboard for coats and boots.

Head upstairs where you will find a beautiful king-size bedroom with an ensuite shower room and beautiful views out to Latrigg and Skiddaw.

In addition there is a large well appointed bathroom, perfect for freshening up with a soothing soak in the bath or under the overhead shower after an exhilarating day exploring the Lake District. Continue up to the second floor where you`ll discover two lovely twin bedrooms, one with far-reaching views over the rooftops, up to the Fells.

Enjoy your morning coffee or evening drinks in the quiet of the patio, while you plan your next activity. Discover the town of Keswick where is a wealth of shops, bars, restaurants such as the Asaya Thai, Casa Bella and Lake Road Inn, plus well-stocked convenience stores.

The Alhambra Cinema shows all the latest releases and why not take in a live performance at the unique Theatre by the Lake.

Keswick Museum, the Derwent Pencil Museum, Puzzling Place, the National Trust site of Derwent Island, lake cruises, ghyll scrambling and white-water tubing tours offered by Keswick Extreme are just a few of the attractions available to visitors. Close by is the town of Bassenthwaite, where you can enjoy the sights of the Lake District Wildlife Park, Mirehouse & Gardens, Dodd Wood and the wildlife of Bassenthwaite Lake National Nature Reserve.

Venture further to Ullswater where you can see the spectacular Aira Force waterfall, or visit Cockermouth for the National Trust Wordsworth House, Harris Park and Cockermouth Castle.

The popular town of Keswick is the holiday centre of the North of the Lake District and has plenty to offer the visitor at any time of year. The town boasts numerous shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as offering miniature golf, excellent parks, the famous Theatre by the Lake, a charming cinema, the Pencil Museum, a climbing wall, fishing and great mountain biking opportunities, whilst the beautiful lake of Derwentwater at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is only a few minutes walk from the town centre. Nearby, between Braithwaite and Buttermere is the beautiful Newlands Valley, while picturesque Bassenthwaite Lake is well worth a visit. From a gentle countryside ramble to a challenging hike up Skiddaw or the famous Catbells, there really is something for everyone. Visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, the Jennings Brewery and Mirehouse, a grand house and gardens on the shores of the Bassenthwaite Lake, or take a fabulous boat trip around Derwentwater. With plenty of attractions for the kids, lovely parks and the nearby Lake District Wildlife Park this is a great Lakeland destination whatever the time of year.
