“The property is for 8, however the smaller 1st floor bedroom does not have any clothes hanging space due to the double bed - the wardrobe is outside the room down 4 steps on the mid-landing?”
As with all properties the accommodation is non-smoking. It should be noted that the rear outside area is covered over and shared with the adjoining property. During our stay the area was used 'by others' for outside smoking? - No smoking sign would clarify the legal status.
The split kitchen/dining area is not an easy to use layout. The table although a good size, has restrictive chair seating access.
The front hallway has a mobile entrance mat that rides up and is a trip hazard.
It should be noted that the instructions in accommodation book say the bed linen is to be turned back and not stripped as per the email read on our return.
That all done with, the TV was great, the water pressure was good, plenty of cutlery, cups, plates etc.. The location was good for the town shops, park and Latrigg Fell not far away.
