    “Wow . What an absolute find!”

    Lisa has literally thought of everything. The cottage is stunning, immaculate and so well put together and stylish and garden is secure for dogs. The thought that has gone into making the dogs welcome too is so cute. There’s a basket with everything from treats to beds. The space is brilliant and everything is quality and everything works which I know should be normal but quite often isn’t the case. The other bonus is that you are literally next door to a great pub with a lovely family ...

The other bonus is that you are literally next door to a great pub with a lovely family running it . It’s dog friendly and a great atmosphere. So in summary, you will not be disappointed. So good we’ve booked again for January 2025 Thank you , we loved it The woods, The Walkers, Freya, Elsa and Holly (the spaniels)

The historic town of Appleby-in-Westmorland lies in a loop of the River Eden and is overlooked by the North Pennines, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the Lake District Fells showing on the western horizon. Set at the heart of the lush Eden Valley and steeped in history, this is one of the loveliest towns in the north of England and was originally the county town of Westmorland. Appleby is nestled between the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales, so guests can enjoy the contrasting scenery of these two National Parks, plus numerous walking and cycling opportunities as well as the fantastic leisure centre in the town.
