5 The Granary is a spacious and comfortable barn conversion located just outside the market town of Kendal.

Formerly used as a grain store for the neighbouring farm, this beautiful end-terrace cottage sleeps up to 7 guests, ideal for families who wish to come together to explore the Lake District National Park and the surrounding regions.

The inviting sitting room is finished with carpet throughout, and hosts a dining table in which you can gather at mealtimes.

The French doors can opened to bring the outside in, perfect on a warm day.

The well-equipped kitchen offers several integrated appliances to make your culinary experience as convenient as possible.

On the first floor there are two king-size doubles and family room, while the remaining single bedroom is positioned on the second floor.

Each bedroom has been tastefully furnished with soft bedding to ensure you are well rested.

The enclosed patio and lawn offers a space to simply embrace the tranquil surroundings, perhaps well accompanied with a glass of wine or a good book.

Kendal is a busy market town with a wealth of shops, restaurants and pubs, as well as offering plenty of beautiful architecture through Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall.

With Lake Windermere just fifteen minutes drive away, why not spend a day touring the beauty of the Lake District?

A historic market town with a fine reputation for shopping, Kendal nestles on the banks of the River Kent and is known as the Southern Gateway to the Lakes. Its old cobbled lanes and byways branch off the attractive main street, and the stone ruins of 12th century Kendal Castle sit perched on a hill with views over the town. Visit The Abbot Hall Art Gallery, its regular collection holding portraits by Kendal born George Romney and works by Turner and Ruskin, with other exhibitions through its links with the Tate.
