“Very dirty, to many cleanliness issues and the owner is not very nice to deal with.”

Stained mattress protector, oven door full of greasy drips all down it, splash back on hob full of fat, air fryer filthy with left over fat and bits of food. Most of the window ledges had hairs, dirt and dust. Dust on most areas. I could go on and on but it just wasn't clean. Also no main TV as it wasn't working as well as the bedroom. My advice is do not book or stay here. Firstly we couldn't get through the barrier on arrival as no information was sent about needing a code. So asked a ...

So asked a neighbour, got through the barrier eventually and got into the caravan with the key code Sykes has sent me. No information about Wifi code so had to ring the number on our booking which turned out to be the owner. She was adamant that she had sent an arrival email and it was sent to me the day before check in. I said no but these things happen and it was ok we had the barrier code now and she had given me the wifi. So all sorted as far as I was concerned. Then I got a text to say no main TV working but it had Netflix and an engineer was sorting it the next day. She apologised and I messaged back saying no problem. It was fixed the day after but the bedroom wasn't working. I messaged her and she blamed it on the TV engineer saying he should have checked. Again the day after it was fixed but only a few channels she said. She then blamed that on previous guests saying they probably had used a fired stick. She then asked if I would like the TV engineer to take another look at it and I thanked her and said no it's ok. Each messaged she sent there was kisses, nice emojis and pleasantries sent between ourselves. She even offered 30% off my next booking. I had found so many cleaning issues during our stay I didn't have the heart to tell her because up to then she had been lovely. Did I get her so wrong. I left it a few days. Then I messaged her about the cleanliness and sent photos. Which I can't post on this review unfortunately. Again she apologised with 50% off and blamed it on the cleaners. I thanked her and accepted the discount. She said she would be in touch. We checked out and I left it a few days and messaged her about re booking and my promised discount. No reply. I messaged again and again and again. No reply. She was ignoring me. Then she sent a message that was sharp and very blunt. No kisses. No nice emojis. It said i've spoken to Sykes, just forward your review. I messaged her to ask why she was being frosty with me and what had I done? Again no reply after messaging 3 more times. 2 weeks later I rang her. No answer so I left a message asking her to get in touch and what had I done wrong for her to act like this towards me? Then the day after she sent me the most nasty email. I was hurt, shocked and taken aback. So she has gone back on her word and has not been very nice to me when I have been very understanding, patient and very reasonable with her. So would most definitely not recommend this caravan as it is too dirty. So many issues and the owner unfortunately isn't a good host with a terrible attitude towards her paying guests.
