    “The property was lovely and very clean.”

    Everything we needed was provided. The only issue we have had was very bad smell from shower drain. The drain wasn't blocked or anything but it did smell very bad for some reason.

The property

Troutbeck 66 is a superb lodge perched on the popular White Cross Bay Holiday Park in Troutbeck Bridge, Windermere.

Boasting a fantastic location within the Lake District National Park and access to the parks excellent facitilies, which include a bar and restaurant, convenience store, entertainment venue, adventure playground, multi-sports court, an indoor pool, spa bath, an amusement arcade, and a launderette.

The property further benefits from an off-road parking space and a private decked area.

Be welcomed into the light and airy open-plan living space, where you can whip up tasty dishes in the well-equipped kitchen, ready to enjoy over a celebratory bottle of fizz with loved ones at the dining table for four.

After dinner, retreat to the large corner sofa to relax in front of a much-loved film on the Smart TV, as the electric fire gently warms the space.

Continue through to find a well-appointed shower room where you can freshen up after a day of exploring, before retiring to one of two tastefully decorated bedrooms, a double with en-suite cloakroom and a twin, to catch some well-deserved rest.

Next stop is the bustling town of Winderemere, where you can take to the waters of the famous lake by boat, canoe, kayak, or paddleboard, soak up amazing views from Queen Adelaide’s Hill and Orrest Head, and tour the popular World of Beatrix Potter Attraction.

Foodies will not want to miss out on a visit to neighbouring Bowness-on-Windermere, which is home to four Michelin Star restaurants.

Further afield, you will find Ambleside, home to the stunning Stock Ghyll Force, Armitt Library & Museum Centre, and Ambleside Roman Fort.
