“It was only a short stay, but it was a fantastic one.”

Ruth met us at the location and showed us around. The place is just lovely. Some fantastic views - enjoyed quite a few times from inside the (beautifully clean) hot tub! The barn has everything you'd need. We're quite a techy family, so the fast internet was perfect (I believe it's Starlink). Usually in more rural locations the internet can be a bit sketchy, not here! Full coverage wifi all around the property too. We always take our firestick away with us, so netflix etc all worked ...

Usually in more rural locations the internet can be a bit sketchy, not here! Full coverage wifi all around the property too. We always take our firestick away with us, so netflix etc all worked seamlessly. Everything was clean and high quality within the property too. Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and full size fridge all adding to the home comforts. The location was great for visiting surrounding lakes... and the local pub only a short walk away (though, it was quite dark so we drove in the evening). Next time we're in the Lakes, we'll definitely be looking to book Meadow Syke Barn again.
