The property

Yewberrie Yurt is a single-storey yurt in Great Strickland, Cumbria, featuring an open-plan area with a toasty woodburning stove and welcoming one furry friend.

Park up and make your way to your new abode; follow the curved exterior to the front door.

Upon entering, you will be greeted with the bright open-plan space home to the sleeping quarters and the living areas.

Utilise the kitchen to make a convenient meal which you can enjoy in the dining area.

Unwind in the sitting area, throw a log on the fire and cuddle up on the sofa for a cushy movie night.

There is a shared shower room to freshen up before bed and a compost WC nearby.

Climb into the king-size bed in the evening to rest and rejuvenate until the birdsong in the morning.

Outside, you have your own private decking area with furniture to enjoy a meal outdoors or a morning brew.

When the sun is out, head over to the shared garden area and fuel up the barbecue.

The attractive, unspoilt rural village of Great Strickland is ideally placed for exploring the Lake District and Eden Valley. The village offers a pub, which serves good food and the nearby market town of Penrith has a good selection of shops and restaurants, a cinema and swimming baths. The Lakeland Bird of Prey Centre is only 2 miles away and well worth a visit, or why not cruise on one of Ullswater's motor yachts, which leave hourly from Pooley Bridge, only 5 miles away? The Rheged Discovery Centre in Penrith is the “largest grass covered building in the country” or you might like to visit Dalemain Historic House featured in a television production of Jane Eyre.
