“This cottage is a cosy, modestly priced property.”
One interesting feature of the place is that the bedrooms and bathrooms are located downstairs, while the living room and kitchen are upstairs. This works quite well if you've been out for a hike, as you can you wash first before ascending into the living room. Showering is pleasant because the water pressure is super strong and the boiler lets out screaming hot water. But, for washing the pots, it is a nightmare, because there are no mixer taps.

The living room is really cosy with lots of wall-mounted lamps and a nice electric fireplace. The kitchen facilities are adequate although a bit dated.
The only negative that I took away from the property was how noisy it was on a morning. Being on the side of a main road, the traffic noise is constant. When you're upstairs, you don't hear the noise enough to disturb you, especially if watching the TV. However, downstairs, I found myself getting woken up early every day by morning commuters. Although, one advantage of being so close to a major road is that the connections to other places are great, so if you're not bothered by the noise, or have earplugs, then it is an ideal location.
