The village of Brotherswater is a mile away and has a traditional inn and a local shop for picking up any essentials, or you can head into Patterdale for a greater choice of shops.

Low Wood View is located on a working farm. From time to time, there will be maintenance work carried out and the owners will be available if you have any questions. Please keep dogs on a lead at all times due to live stock and the nature of the location.

Owners will allow a 2nd dog for an extra £20 - please do confirm this with the brand/owner as the owners wish to know how many dogs will be staying.

Crossgate Luxury Glamping are five delightful, single-storey pods and one wonderful cottage resting in Hartsop resting close to Glenridding in the beautiful Lake District. Nestled in stunning countryside, on this 5th generation working farm, this collection offers a hot tub to watch the sky grow dark and a fire pit to keep you toasty, making this an idyllic setting for three couples or a families. All of the pods have a studio-style layout with colourful décor for a warm atmosphere, where you can curl up on the sofa bed with a TV for entertainment. HARTSOP

The delightful hamlet of Hartsop lies in the Patterdale valley. It has retained its historic image with charming 17th-century grey stone cottages and working sheep farms. Hartsop is right in the heart of the Lake District and in the midst of some of the finest walking country that the area has to offer. It is a popular starting point for hill walkers climbing on the High Street range and the Helvellyn range. The village is overlooked by Brock Crags and Hartsop Dodd. It is a great centre for touring to all parts of the area and would provide a pleasant place to unwind. Ullswater Lake is less than 3 miles away giving you access to sailing, kayaking, and lake cruises. A mile from Hartsop is the small and remote lake of Hayeswater which serves as a reservoir for the town of Penrith.
