“Extremely lovely cottage just outside Bowness.”

About 1.5 miles away from centre, easily walkable but I would recommend taking a torch in the later months as there is not much street lighting. Handy having a dedicated parking spot. This cottage has all you need, well equipped kitchen, good bathroom and a decent size. There is a very large garden with a summerhouse, pity the weather was miserable so we didn't get the to use it. 1The only thing I felt let it down to some degree was that one of the sofas was well past it's best. Cushioning was very saggy making it not particularly comfortable and quite low as a result. Found it difficult to get up from. Would certainly book this again if we return to the area any time
