Visitors are welcome at Windermere Golf Club a short drive away.
High Fold oozes character with its beamed ceilings, Westmorland panelling, deep set windows with ancient oak lintels, and uneven floors and walls, complemented by modern facilities to keep you comfortable in any season.

A door from the kitchen encloses the bottom of the stairs which lead up to the double bedroom and the bathroom (bath with shower over, basin and wc).
The cottage is comfortably furnished with beamed ceilings throughout downstairs, some fitted carpets and some feature period oak floors with rugs.

The extensive main fellside garden is behind the property reached by a path round the side.
Here you will find sloping paths and steps on various levels and a tumbling stream set against the lovely background of the Troutbeck valley (younger children should be supervised).
