    “Overall is satisify.”

    However, the dishes, oven and cooking utilities were not clean. We need to wash it once before use.

    Thank you for highlighting the problem with the dishes. I can only assume some previous guests did not use the dishwasher (or did not leave the dishes out for cleaner to see) and put the items away after briefly washing them in the sink. We don’t have many notices for guests as we think a lot of things are common sense such as avoiding putting unclean dishes in a cupboard. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience. Coniston Number 9 is an outstanding ground-floor lodge, resting within the White Cross Holiday Park, close to Lake Windermere.

Complete with superb on-site facilities including a swimming pool and gym, this delightful cottage is the ideal base for a family holiday to the breath-taking Lake District National Park.

Stepping into the cottage, you are greeted to a contemporary-styled open-living area, boasting a bright and airy atmosphere.

This area plays hosts to a well-equipped kitchen, a formal dining room and a cosy sitting area, where a comfortable sofa sits in front of a warming electric fire.

Moving through the property, you will discover three well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a king-size double, a twin and an adult bunk room, boasting a delightful interior to create the ideal base for unwinding of an evening.

Completing the property, is an elegant family bathroom, housing a spacious walk-in shower, basin and WC.

During a summer’s evening, you can enjoy a glass of wine on the raised deck area, complete with furniture and a gas barbeque.

White Cross Bay holiday park nestles on the shores of Lake Windermere, midway between Windermere and Ambleside, in the Lake District National Park.
