Elton's Escape is a charming caravan nestled on a holiday park within the stunning Troutbeck Bridge, Windermere. Close to a serene lake, this open-plan retreat offers off-road parking for two cars, making it an ideal escape for guests seeking a peaceful getaway in the heart of a National Park. Upon entering this single-storey abode, you will be greeted by a spacious open-plan area, thoughtfully designed to cater to all your needs. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all the essentials, ready for you to prepare delicious meals to be enjoyed at the dining table, which comfortably seats six. After dinner, retire to the sitting room, where a Smart TV awaits for an inviting movie night in. The property boasts three well-presented bedrooms, a double and two twins, all offering a tranquil space to rest after a day of exploration. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and a separate shower, providing a choice of how to prepare for the day ahead. A separate WC adds an extra touch of convenience to your stay. Made up of a scattering of Lakeland cottages, this quiet village offers a thriving and very popular local pub, serving real ales and fine food. The bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside are close by, providing a range of amenities including shops, pubs and cafes. Lake Windermere boasts a range of lakeside activities, including trips to the famous Aquarium and the renowned Grizedale Forest Park, whilst children will enjoy the World of Beatrix Potter in nearby Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. With destinations such as Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains all within easy reach, Troutbeck Bridge is an ideal location for exploring all that the region has to offer.

Park Rules and Operations – White Cross Bay

White Cross Bay has its own onsite facilities. You will need to purchase a complex pass from reception which includes the use of the pool, entertainment and access to bar and restaurant. The prices are subject to change by park management.

All holiday parks are owned and managed by a separate company to ourselves. Lake District Lodge Holidays has no association with the owners of these parks or responsibility for the provision of services they offer. At certain times of year, there maybe a reduction in those services, which is outside of our control.

Commercial vehicles, caravans, camper vans, Hen or Stag parties are not permitted onsite. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and are not be left alone in the lodges at any point during your stay.

You will be staying on an operational holiday park, which means work may be undertaken from time to time by the park owners during your stay. Although Lake District Lodge Holidays will always try to inform guests in advance if something may impact on a stay and if we have prior knowledge. We cannot be held responsible or accept any liability for park operations of which are outside of our control and which we have no knowledge of.

Any issues relating to a stay at a privately owned lodge should be reported back through Lake District Lodge Holidays as the park are not responsible for managing the lodge or booking for private sublet guests during their stay.
